Title: Jeep Trackhawk
Post by: J-Code Jeni on August 12, 2017, 09:14:38 PM
Okay so this has me thinking... we just heard that Jeep's coming out with the 2018 Trackhawk which is a Grand Cherokee SUV with the 707-HP engine!   I prefer SUV's for a daily driver so, this is right up my alley, even though I wasn't looking for a new car. MSRP is $85K which is A LOT for a SUV in fact, it's $20K over the SRT model but, holy smokes... it sounds awesome!

Does anyone know how long they will offer the Trackhawk? Is it just for 2018? What colors are available? What are the options?

I just love that Chrysler is having fun with this engine- just like back in the day!  :D

We need some inside info.  @Dmz73 (https://forum.e-bodies.org/mlist/dmz73_183)  and @MoparDave (https://forum.e-bodies.org/mlist/mopardave_10)  can you guys help out with any info?  Will this be a one year only deal or do you think they will continue to offer the TrackHawk in 2019?

Thanks Chryco! Great find on the board, Judy, there seems to be one fruitful thread there!

Still can't believe how much over the SRT price tag this is...  :o I bet it's knocked a lot of people out of the running...

pretty sure the extra cost is due to the extra heavy duty engineering on the drivetrain components so the AWD could handle all that power

It's really not that much higher when you consider options.  My local dealer has yet to stock a SRT jeep with a sticker price under 72k, some odd them as high as 76-77K, so 85k isnt that far out of the wheelhouse
