Title: Seller kept his word and delivered.
Post by: LinceCuda on August 21, 2017, 03:59:06 PM
Got a call a couple of weeks ago that the guy I bought my Cuda from found the shifter and breather. He gave the parts to my friend which is his boss, so Paul shipped them through his company and it didn't cost me a thing. In the mean time I found a set of rods for $100 on ebay and a set of repop grips for $30. The breather came with the car when he bought it but its not original being is my car was a 318 Cuda but had a 340 when he bought it. I got the shifter mechanism and rods cleaned up and looking good. Sure saved me some bucks

My friend Paul said he was an honest guy and if he could find it I would get it. The breather was never mentioned so it was a great surprise and they are pretty easy to restore, and make look like new money. Yes it's good to see honesty is still alive and well.
