I don't think you could even pay someone to chrome a lid for less then what you are asking for your. Chroming around here has gotten expensive. Someone should be able to use that piece and the price is really fair. Good luck with the sale.
My dad said he paid $160 just to have it plates and the lid should be worth $50 or so...
