Title: cuda door panels differences
Post by: cuda dad on August 31, 2017, 07:42:26 PM
Can anyone tell me what's going on with these door panels on our 1970 cuda?  They are different and I don't mean just left and right.

The SPD is 710.  I'm guessing the one with the split is late?

On Challengers the split panels were used through most of 70..... But not 71-74

:iagree: my mid-July '70 built 1970 Challenger R/T has both "split" panels (both with Earl Scheib's 40 year old overspray on them)

They are both split on my AAR but I have no way of knowing if they have been changed for sure but I don't think so.

AAR's while not "early" are still early enough that I would expect the split style panels....  My 7/23/70 built R/T SE had split panels... But they were burnt Orange & since that was a one year only color I wouldn't expect a second design panel...
