Title: Recovering Front Bucket Seats
Post by: dave73 on September 19, 2017, 12:46:23 PM
I'm tossing around the idea of recover the seats in my 73 challenger myself. Two questions:

-Is there a noticeable difference in the quality of aftermarket covers from Tamraz on ebay vs. Legendary? I have black vinyl, my rear seat is original and perfect so my main concern is them matching.

-Are there any 'how to' guides if I attempt to recover the front buckets myself?

I think Legendary has some YouTube videos on install their seat covers.  It's not hard, but will take some time until you get comfortable with how it all works best.  There are some tips and tricks that will make it easier.  Normally I use new foam and shape it to make it perfect so there are not any wrinkles.  If you try it and get stuck, let me know and I'll walk you through it.

I would say you get what you pay for, there's likely a reason why they're cheaper. :alan2cents:
