Title: Looking for Mopars for Mopar Magazine Car Features
Post by: 69bronzeT5 on December 12, 2017, 08:10:24 PM
Hello everyone!
I'm the associate editor for an online Mopar magazine called "Mopar Connection". I do mainly news and car feature articles; both restored cars and ones people have found sitting. I'm looking for some Mopars to do car feature articles on. I'm open to everything whether it be 100% OE spec restored or pro-touring and everything in between. Regardless if your car has a 318 or a Hemi, I'm interested in everything! If you'd be interested, please shoot me a PM and we can go from there. I do ask a few things though to qualify for a feature article.

-You must have good quality photos of your car- at least 1000x600 in size preferably. Facebook quality photos won't do. You'll see the type of pictures I'm looking for in the articles below :)
-Information on your car- the more info the better! Most feature articles are around 1000-1500 words. I've had guys want their cars featured and then send me two sentences of information and that's it. That won't work.

Here's some examples of work I've done:
http://moparconnectionmagazine.com/when-classic-meets-modern-barnabas-kriss-1970-plymouth-cuda-srt8/
http://moparconnectionmagazine.com/heavy-dose-of-vitamin-c-barnabas-kriss-1970-dodge-challenger-rt-se/
http://moparconnectionmagazine.com/stung-twice-marc-alexanders-1971-dodge-charger-super-bee/

If you're interested, please let me know!

Cheers,
Cody

Cody did a great job on an article about my T/A earlier this year!

Now that I'm doing a "refresh" of my convertible, I'll have to send you some pictures and info on it.

I assume you are interested in cars that are finished/running cars.  I have been doing a nut and bolt restoration on my '70 'Cuda since 2009 and it is nearing completion. Just need the final detail/trim work done this winter.  Should be driving next Spring.  1970 numbers matching "U" Code 'Cuda with Hemi 4-speed, Dana 60 4:10 rear end, Super Trak Pack car with Rallye Gauges and center console.  The engine has a  440 Source 512 Stroker Kit, Lunati 704 cam, Pro Maxx aluminum heads, Holley Dominator intake and Quick Fuel 880 CFM carb, TTI headers and TTI X pipe 3" exhaust.  Restoration pictures are available at the link below.  Brad

@blowin74 (https://forum.e-bodies.org/mlist/blowin74_1340) I just made the connection. I'm sure @Brads70 (https://forum.e-bodies.org/mlist/brads70_12) and I met you at the Run to the Sun show in Myrtle Beach three years ago. I'm also from Ontario. I saw you've been conversing with him about seat belts. Your Cuda is very cool.

Car looks great and it is a 71 with 4 speed. I am impressed how the car get assembled in one month and then onto a car show. Mine is taking forever but I am getting close. Hopefully no more surprises.

Message him. @69bronzeT5 (https://forum.e-bodies.org/mlist/69bronzet5_804) and he will give you his email to send pics and information on your car. He needs higher resolution than is posted on the board. I actually mailed him a thumb drive with most my Cuda file on it. Let him pic what he wanted out of it. Most of my pics were 5meg pics each and that makes it hard to email very many.

Cody: Have you ever thought about doing a retro feature? I have some pretty good 35MM shots of my FM3 R/T from around 1980 with the Hemi swapped in etc. It might be a fun thing to spice things up a bit. Maybe people wouldn't be interested these days though.

I'd totally be interested! I'm always up for that. I did something similar a few years ago and I really enjoyed working on it so if you are game, I totally am!
