Title: Challenger Script Fender Emblems ??
Post by: filmsurgeon on January 16, 2018, 06:41:29 PM
Anyone here have any experience with the currently available reproduction 3-pin Challenger script fender emblems.  A few years ago, I bought a pair (I think they were AMD brand) that were not correct.  The Script lettering was too thin, and too much black background.  Another pair I bought around the same time, had good script, but one of the pins sheared right off when I was putting on the speed nut.  Who makes the best quality emblems these days?  Trimparts used to sell good stuff, and I believe Original Equipment Reproduction (OER) makes good stuff. Thanks for your help.

Why not track down originals?

I know a guy in PA that has a pair for sale. I don't know all the details on them. If you are interested PM me and I'll send you his number.

I have a pair of originals I took off the car, but the chrome is not that good, even after all the "restoration" work I put into them.  I didn't want to try having them re-chromed.  See the following link to a post I made on c-c.com 4 years ago.
