I would consider this car but I just don't know values enough on verts. Is this a reasonable price for a vert needing a restoration as it has rust issues?
Opinions please.

If you'd like a vert in your collection I'd go look..... Top down cruising in the Rockies would be awesome... How much rust is there? His rust versus the M46 cars you've dragged home might be nothing....
It's like the one from the Brady Bunch!
I agree: You would have to look at it. 71 Barriecudas carry a premium so the price might be in line. There's just no way to know value without an inspection.

You're right[ does look like the Brady Bunch car!
That's going to be gone pretty fast.
:iagree: I'm sure it's gone by now... :bigmoney:
Yes, that is a buy. I've got to stop looking at these threads, no time for another project. ::) :crying:
Waiting to see if Cuda Hunter has another new project...
Unless the bottom side is totally rusted away, this should have been sold by now. :wowzers: If it was just a wee bit closer, I would have been there by now! And you can take that to the bank,
I left a message but no return call . Probably sold already.
Just talked to David.
He just bought it 2 days ago for 23k.
Selling now for 27k.
Left quarter needs replaced. Right quarter could use a patch or replace.
One rust hole in cowl left side near top.
No fender tag. But has build sheet.
B5 blue original with one repaint
Blue interior.
White top.
Hes calling me back as he is buying a scooped hood. For it.
Let you know what I find out.
Anyone got some more pricing advice for me?

I would have to say it is at least 4 times a better investment than the M46 Barracuda any day of the week. How many times have we seen total rust bucket ebodies go for 20k+ Unless there are some MAJOR issues not seen in the picture, this deserves a look. Maybe not the caliber of the one Finoke sold awhile back, but this has to be one of the best deals as far as I am concerned in some time. :alan2cents:
If in my area, it would be in my shop as we read about this.
And it is close to you, half a day and it can be sitting at your house

....half a day....and oh yea....$27,000.00 dollars !!! :o
Less rust=more money
He never called me back.
I worked 11 hours today so I didn't get a chance to call him back in a reasonable hour.
Will try again tomorrow.
He said that he has had a TON of calls about the car. Mostly out of staters. I said I was interested and would come out to look but he had to take another call. Missed opportunity.
so what in everyones opinion would the value of this car be in the listed condition?
Oh, and he said that the power top works.
As does the car, starts and drives.
23K, some peoples luck. :Thud:
If you want it give him the $27k there's no time to try and beat him up. It's a great deal. He should've asked $33k and settled on $30k. It will be gone tomorrow.

It was gone a couple hours ago. :bricks:

:iagree: And
A) I'm cheap
B) I'm not a 71 Cuda fanboy....
If you want a shot at it get in your car & be in his town early tomorrow.....

Not surprising. He seemed overwhelmed when I talked to him about the car.
He appears to be a flipper from the beginning. He picked it up from somewhere and offered it for sale for a few grand. Got a hundred calls from all over the country and he figured out he could get more money for the car than 27K.
Anyone have a guess as to what this car will sell for?
seems like its not a hobby anymore.
how fast can I get it on ebay to make the quick buck.
sure I would like it.
I also like to enjoy my cars for a little while.
P.S. and what the hell is with all the watchers on ebag.
im gonna watch this one to see if it sells.
that's what completed listings is for.
have a nice day everybody.
ebay pics show a lot of rust and bondo in the car.....better be a hands on look before buy
& then it was gone
Sometimes the ones you miss are actually a blessing in disguise.
Looks like it was sold behind the cone of silence. Just got ebay message, my bid was cancelled. :bricks:

Wow, that was a fair bit rougher than I thought from the earlier photos I saw of it. Still a pretty good project I suppose.
A friend said he saw it at around $31,000 before it dissapeared.
