Probably been done before, but don't remember. 70 Cuda and Challenger are now 48 years old. I was 16 when they came out and I'm going to be 64 in April. Just curious how close to the average I am. :D
Ha, ha: I was 13 years old and remember reading Car and Driver, Hot Rod and all the rest of them in the fall of 69 when the E-bodies came out. Needless to say that left a lasting impression. I remember looking at them new on the lot and of course on the street. Great memories and dreams too I suppose.
The fall of 1969, hmmmmm..........let's see, I was 21 years old and preparing for an overseas vacation. Paid for by Uncle Sam. But, during the almost year I was away from the U.S. I heard all about Challengers and Cudas from shipmate BS sessions, magazine articles. When I was separated in 1972, I purchased my first '70 Challenger in 1973. Although I've had more than one since then, I still have that first one. I passed 70 years old last December. Thanks, Al
I'm 42.
Wasn't there.
58 and not all grey...yet. :bricks:
Old enough to know better ... and too old to give a shit anymore.
53. Haven't figured out what I want to do when I grow up. Still play with cars.
Apparently my graph isn't very happy with me for some reason. Its giving me the finger !!! :D
I am 59 soon to be one year older. BUT I feel a lot younger
I was only 34 when my 70 RT was built!
What do you so when: The mind says YES,
but the body says NO
Keep working on those e-bodies, and buy plenty of IcyHot!
:wrenching:
I was 27 when I bought my car, 32 now, and still working on it
I feel like this was in another post not too long ago?
Either way, I am currently 31. My 1972 Challenger predates me by 15 years. My car has left for dead in 1979 when It was last taken off the road before undergoing restoration ~2010. It's entire lifespan was basically over 7 years before I was born.

I'll be 51 this July. wow....... :unbelievable:
So far, the majority didn't even have a drivers license when these cars were being built !
Yup, I was in grade one when your car was built Racer :drinkingbud:
I was 9 when my car rolled out of Hamtramk
I've had 59 Birthdays.
My brain says 29 and my body laughs at it.
45.....if I remember correctly!?!
just turned 35 not too long ago. bought my first muscle car at 25 a 68 400 4spd firebird, actually it was the first "car " I ever bought. I always had trucks. I still have my first truck I bought at 17 . a 1972 gmc short box stepwise 4x4. bought my 71 cuda on my 30th birthday
I was born in the proper decade for ebodies...1979. Dont hate me, but didnt notice ebodies until 2014, now I am a big fan.
I was negative 4, and 14 when I purchased my 71 Cuda in need of restoration. Finally finished it in 2013.

I actually love the fact that people younger then me love the Challengers and Cuda's and who continue to buy, fix, build or restore their cars. I was a high school senior when the Challenger came out but seeing the movie Vanishing Point in 1971 cemented my desire to own one. Picked up a used yellow 70 RT in poor condition for 1000 in 1973 and drove the hell out of it. Was in college, 20 years old and of course had limited funds at the time. It was the first of a number of Challengers and Cudas I would own. When I see guys and girls in their 30's, 40's and 50's enjoying our e-bodies, GREAT! That tells me that Mopar did the right thing in building these cars back then. Now in my 60's, I still enjoy owning and working on one. Live long and prosper. :wrenching: :stayinlane:
Well , right now, 66 but will be 67 in August..........Age bring on things you don't want.........Will be 2 weeks Tue.......replaced left knee.............they said I would be glad I did it.............well almost 2 weeks in and its getting better, but time will tell if what they say is true...........I even had a small bone chip floating around in there too...........
Too Damn old! I was 22 when I factory ordered my first 1970 'Cuda in Oct of 1969. You figure it out. :Thud: :Thud:
I was 10 when my friend who lived next door dad bought a new 70 Challenger vert. He took us to see Vanishing point at the movie theater a few month later and I was hooked. Seven years later in 78 I was a senior in HS and bought my 1st Challenger a 72 Ralley 340 Top Banana.
My car is a 1973 model. I was born in 1974. I got myself an older mistress! So for those that don't want to do any math I'm 44.
I am 54 turning 55 in August this year, I was 5 1/2 years old when my AAR was built, bought it on June 15th 1979 when I was 15 yrs 9 1/2 months old as my 1st car, couldn't even drive it home because I didn't have my license for another 3 months (that was a painfully long wait). :Thud:
54 years young, body says 44, brain says 24, so my wife tells me... :haha: :haha:

I sometimes don't get that much credit.... ::)
I turned 16 (legal to drive) on the same day the original owner of my 74 Challenger took possession of it from the dealer. Karma? :dunno:
The results of this poll surprises me. 75% were not able to drive and/or even born when the last Cuda/Challenger was made. Its nice to see younger numbers showing an interest so they don't just rust away. Of course its also hard for me to imagine that my '70 Cuda is actually 48 years old when I can easily remember riding around in friends brand new ones.
I'm 46
I'm sneaking up on 61. In 1971 I just turned 14 and got my drivers licence. I remember going to the car lots and checking out the new models, but not mopars. I was into chevy's then.. It was quite a few years later when I found out just how cool mopars were and got my car in 77.
I was minus 16 years old when my 72 challenger was born.
I'm 45. Been into cars since I was 12. My father was always a huge car guy. I lost him last year on June 14, 2017, two days before my wedding anniversary.
It makes me happy there are so many "younger" people interested in these cars. That will ensure interest and preservation of them for decades to come.

I will be 59 in a couple of weeks and since I was 19 ,have had about 6 or more motorcycle , car and truck accidents that I easily should have died in.
Guess the Lord wants me to wake up before the sunrise for awhile longer!
I am 59; 3 months to 60.
Mopars keep me young :D
66. Got my first E Body in 1990. Got my second one in 1994 and ended up giving it to my son because he helped do so much work on it that I figured it would make a great graduation gift.
I just checked out this poll and discovered I am the one percenter. Too bad that doesn't transition into dollars!
Let's see now.... the knees are about a 100, the back 70ish, the eyeballs are still not too bad, let's say 50ish, the hair-on second thought, let's not talk about the hair, the mind, still thinks it's 30ish and the general body- who knows. Let's call it 250 for a nice round number, eh? LOL :))
