Title: Mig torch LED light
Post by: screamindriver on February 06, 2017, 05:55:06 PM
I wanted to share this with everyone....I bought this mig LED light a few months ago wondering if would hold up to the task....And it works great !! It's powered by an AAA battery that lasts for quite a while....This little add-on works great for welding out of position in the shadows as well as under the work where you have limited space...

It comes with some extra lenses to change it out if you catch some spatter but I've been in some close quarters with the light on and the spatter hasn't even touched the lens .. It's nice when you buy something that exceeds your expectations and this is one of them... https://www.amazon.com/Steck-Manufacturing-23240-Mig-Light/dp/B002YKIM6S (https://www.amazon.com/Steck-Manufacturing-23240-Mig-Light/dp/B002YKIM6S)

Pretty cool, although I can totally see someone taping a mini mag light onto their MIG torch to accomplish the task...  :D

I have held a led flashlight in one hand , torch in the other before .....
I'm thinking for all the times I'd use it holding a flashlight would work, the rest of the time it would maybe be in the way?
I bought this for my tig welder, used it once then took it off. Found it got in the way...
