I've been curious about this one as well.....Been for sale for a while now with a very optimistic asking price. If it sells in that ballpark, $85K-$95K, it would be one of the first 71 340's to reach that peak for sure.... :dunno:
I think the billboards, B2 and black wheels just completely wash out. Change any one of those features and it would brighten the car up. It looks like quite a nice resto though, I didn't look close but I didn't see any hiccups on a cursory look (other than the spare tire).
Billboards and hubcaps?!?
I don't like the look of steel wheels on ANYTHING, but, IMO, they really don't go with billboards. A '71 with billboards is all about bling, and steelies are all about cheap. Just don't go together. :alan2cents:
Very nice car! Wondering why there would be black paint on the gas tank?
The tread is very different from the one on my Challenger collapsible 14" spare. Interesting. I guess I never realized there was such a big difference between the 14" and 15" tread design.

No: That's a mid 70's spare in this 71 Cuda.

In my limited knowledge it looks like a 70 trunk floor.

Completely wrong spare tire in this car, not even a good "look-a-like". The 15" rims have the incorrect appearance too. Should be 450's if the car was coded for 15" wheels.
