Title: Valve spring question

70 383 motor--does these look stock??? They are the double springs just like the ones I was going to install.

They might be. How thick is the wire? The inner part isn't really a spring, it is a damper.

.207 in..the same size as the Lunati springs I just got.

stock are generally painted , you have to pressure test them to know what they are

BTW it is just a single spring with a damper inside , true dual springs will have 3 parts with the damper in between & use a different retainer with a step for the inner spring
