This is very sad news . . :crying:
Very sorry to hear of his passing RIP.
So sorry to hear that, I didn't know him but was looking forward to his return. Prayers for comfort for his family and friends.
Murray called me tonight and told me that Mark had died and it took me a minute to process the reality of it. Murray, Doug and I met Mark and his mate Jim in Florida last year as we were going to the Mecum auction and I'm glad for the time we had to quaff a few pints in his shop as he showed us Jim's amazing Challenger, that he and Jim had built. He was, as Murray has said, a good old boy and he welded that personality to the extremely talented builder/fabricator side of his personality. He was an easy man to like and there was no pretension nor bullshit to him. I liked him a lot and will, as many here have testified, miss him. Go with God Mark. :(
Oh Man! I'm so sorry to hear this.
This guy was a really cool dude I never got to meet.
He was a very spirited personality here.
RIP Roadman.
$hit............. so sorry to hear this. :crying: Altho I only met Mark earlier this year we seemed to connect. No question about it he was a good ol' boy! Bother I'm honored to call you a friend, may you rest easy. Thanks again for the light kit, I'm sure you know now I held up my end of the deal. Just wish you could have seen it. :andyangel:
This is very sad , You will be remembered Mark
I got to meet him at Carlisle a couple of years back & I talked to him on the phone a couple of times just before the stroke .
I know he was asking about a cart or wagon to get around at Carlisle this year , I told him we would modify a Radio flyer wagon to get him around if needed .
Great guy to hang out with !!
Honestly I expected this unfortunatley & it does not make the news any easier to take but he seemed to be getting much weaker very quickly .
RIP My friend :andyangel:
R.I.P Mark, Condolences to his family and friends.
RIP Mark, our condolences to his family.
Big sigh.... I'm not sure what to say. :( I'm completely at a loss for words. He was one of the good ones for sure. He will be missed. :rebelflag"
This is going to take some time to sink in for me. So sad right now... :'(

The last thing I expected to hear today after going to two funerals this month already.
Another reminder that we are traveling the same road ultimately.
Mark will definitely be missed, I am praying for him and his family.
Does anybody have a picture of Roadman so we can put a face to the name ?
R.I.P Mark and deepest sympathies to family...i had been in touch with him a few times via PM in early March so i'm saddened to hear of his passing.
Andrew :australia:
With the posts that he had moved to rehab awhile back I was expecting more positive news in this thread.
What a loss for our e-bodies community. I never met him, but I have read and followed his advice on here and CC for ages. One of the many members who I trusted with sound advice, tips and tricks.
I'm thankful that he was a good guy who wanted to share his knowledge without wanting anything in return. It's certainly a sad moment but I prefer to think of how lucky we all are to have know him even if it was just through an online car community. It's a reminder that although it's just a few key strokes on a screen we can still be a family.
RIP Roadman!
Very sad news, he brought a lot of enthusiasm to the board. RIP and God Bless his family.
:iagree:
R.I.P. Mark,
Our thoughts & prayers are with your family at this sad time.
God Bless
Bill
:bye: RIP :rebelflag"

That's a good idea. I spoke to Mark several times on the phone when I got my headlights relay.
It would be nice to see a picture of him

Bob
I was going to say...add the picture to the banner, but obviously someone thinks faster then I can type... :haha:
Just wanted to pay respects to a fellow Mopar brother...peace be with him and his family.
The joy of these forums are the "brotherly" connections made with our common bonds.
Did not know him but he is now in good hands for eternity.
The sad of these forums is the cumulative loss we all have. Duty of remaining is to continue the greatness he was a part of.
Mike.
Thanks for th great Picture Jim
He looks way too young.....

So sorry to hear. RIP and condolences to his family.
RIP Mark. Thanks for working on my Gran Coupe, and it was a pleasure to share a beer with you!
This site will forever be at a loss with out you.
I think Mark lived life as he chose & after his stroke he wouldn't have been able to do that.... I know we grieve & he will be missed but I also honestly believe he wouldn't have like living with the restrictions he would have had after his stroke.....
I think many of us likely feel the same way... I know I do....
He enjoyed helping others but I'm guessing he never wanted to feel like he was a burden, no matter that any of us would have happily been there for him, he wouldn't have wanted that.... I could be wrong... But somehow I don't think I am....
If someone thinks this is inappropriate say the word, I'll delete it....
:iagree:
Except he wanted to find a cart to get around at Carlisle before the stroke & knew he had some limitations even then .
Oh no...just read this.
Very bad news.
Rest in Peace Mark, you will be missed here.
And my condolences to your family and friends.

I think you are right on. When I was down there in January he would lightly grumble a bit about his health issues at that time and that was well before his stroke. At the same time it was hard to tell he was dealing with some troubles. He wore it well and like you say, he didn't want to be a burden.

I agree. He and I had talked about this many times. Better to go quickly than sitting around waiting helplessly for it to happen.
:iagree: Let's face it, lots of us here have a "condition "or two. You just never know.............

Your probably spot on. Even though I didn't know Mark I feel the same way as you described.
I've come to have some medical issues over the past couple years, COPD,High blood pressure occasional dizzy spells. Part of getting older.
And no I wouldn't want to be a burden on my family or friends either or live the rest of my life not being able to do for myself what I want.
"To live in minds we leave behind is not to die" is very appropriate. Celebrate his life.
Sorry to read about Roadman passing.
Condolonces to his family.
Condolences to Mark's Family and Friends.
Only Mopars in Heaven, there's no speed limit and you never run out of gas! :burnout:
RIP Roadman
To echo Mick Jagger........"What a drag it is getting old". Thanks, Al
Got to know Roadman over the phone. He went out of his way to look at a Cuda for me. Saved me from a few bad purchases.
Rest in peace brother.
Like the quote "To live in minds we leave behind is not to die"
An appropriate tribute to the man.
We of course all get old eventually (still cant't believe I am in my mid 60's.)
I put my car away in 1984 and just took it out of storage to work on it three years ago.
Take the best care of yourself as possible and do what you enjoy for as long as you can!
Time is fleeting
I still think about Roadman a lot and sure do miss that guy. :(
I did not know Roadman but he sure sounds like a great guy. I do know from personal experience how your entire life can change in a matter of seconds. So enjoy every second of it because sooner or later it comes to an end.

Very true. We never know what is going to happen or when. :handshake:
Agree as I do as well.
He was helping me thru some electrical gremlin issues just before he passed.
Did not know him personally but he was going out of his way for me...
Class act!
The good memories live forever.
Yes it is that "time" of year. I hope he's cruzin' in that big E BOD in the sky!
I spent a fair amount of time with him @ Carlisle in 17 I guess I was hoping to find a solution to get him around in 18 , it was great getting to know him & I miss him for sure :bigthumb:
yeah, I miss him too. Had several phone calls with him. he is definitely missed.

March 15th 2020 was the 2 year anniversary of Roadman being last active and we're coming up 2 years since his death. Sometimes I see a post and think he would get a kick out of it. Sure hopes he knows how much we miss him. He'll forever live on through the people he touched. :rebelflag" You can tell the quality of a person in how they help people they don't even know. :rebelflag" RIP
@Roadman (https://forum.e-bodies.org/mlist/roadman_17)
Solid truth...
I respect the amount a person is missed when that person is no longer with us. It speaks volumes about them.
