Title: Sale or keep OEM parts????
Post by: nsmall on February 17, 2017, 03:08:35 PM
Any advice on whether to keep or sale OEM parts?

I have a 73 Cuda that is no longer stock. I don't want to look like a hoarder but was thinking maybe over time these parts might become more valuable and they're only original once to the car so maybe if someone wanted to take the car back to its stock condition I should keep the parts???

At the same time my car isn't super rare, I'm not broke but this would offset some of the money I've spent, and it seems like they make more and more reproduction parts....maybe now is a good time to get rid of these parts?

Should I share a list?

Thanks

Some parts are much more desirable then others.  So it really depends on the part.  If you don't have any plan to restore another car or use the parts on yours, best to sell them and use the money for something you enjoy.  Unless having the parts is something you enjoy (like some of us)?   :haha:

If you have the room keep them you will pay more to replace them later  :alan2cents:

Nothing wrong with having a few spare parts. I know I have a few (too many).
