Any idea what this is for big block/sm block year wiw ?

Small block. I've got one on my 318. I don't  know if they were used on the 72-73 340s or 74 360s.  Definitely 318s. Not sure on worth. I think most have rusted away into nothing. Mine was heavily pitted and needed a lot of work.

It mounts to the ds manifold. The hot air duct runs from that piece to the air cleaner.

Thanks I have two in good shape wasn't sure what engines they fit.

Barracuda / Challenger (also fit B & C-bodies)
Parts Catalog section 14-62-1
Carburetor Air Heater
1972 #3418 626 (318 & 340)
1973-74 #3671 893 (318, 340 & 360)

not sure what the difference is, but that's what the Parts Catalog shows
