Title: what is this trim piece?
Post by: superdave on October 09, 2018, 11:26:35 AM
Insert Steve Martin skit "What the he*& is that??" Here... The car is a '71 Challenger convertible with basically no options besides GY3 paint and power steering. Does anyone have any idea what this piece of trim could be? I'm not convienced it is off an e-body but my brotber believes it is. That's the problem working on a project you took apart decades ago. :-[  :headbang:

It's not E Body and I would guess it's a body side molding door piece.

I'd have to look at mine at home to be sure, but if it came from a challenger my thought would be the trunk lid. But I don't beleive they are beveled on the ends.

Actually it's for mounting to a cane, hockey stick, broom handle.....
and then beating this guy senseless with it...... just saying....
