Well, this is a car that I have forgotten about, for a few years. It's a '73, that my son and I fixed up, quite some time back. I paid $600.00 for it, when he was 13. That was nearly 20 years ago and he has since lost interest in it. I think I'll give it some TLC, this winter and get it back to looking and running, the way it should. I started, by giving it a quick bath, after work today. I think she'll shine up just fine.
Jeez, I wish MY Dad had a good looking '73 like that sitting at his house! You can bet that I wouldn't lose interest in that orange crate! If you're in a hurry to get rid of it I'm sure we could clear some garage space for it! LOL
 I've seen that car before... Back around 2006

Yep. He and a friend took it to Monterey, for a photo shoot, involving the new challenger. He still has the magazine is somewhere. Did you have a car out there, that day?
Very cool. I wish I could find things like that in my yard--All I have now are millions of leaves--LOL

Yup... It was a fun day & Greg was a pleasure to talk with, I'd hoped to see him out playing with the car again but never have.... But then again I rarely head over to the coast because of the traffic, I prefer to head up to the mountains..
Check out my comment at the bottom of the first column....

I saw it this last Saturday.
I cracked up when I saw the plants growing on it.
Mike, why pay for a vinyl top, when you can grow your own? :haha:Seriously, it's not something I'm proud of, but I assure you that it will look a lot better, the next time you see it.
Strange coincidence.
I also have a 1973 Challenger that I find sitting covered up in the back corner whenever I make it over to my storage building.
I've owned it since I was 15, it was the first car I ever owned. :bigthumb:
I've had a number of engines in the car over the years, both big and small blocks.
The last engine/trans setup was a street/strip 440 with Hemi 4 speed trans. that was running high 11's at the track showing a little air under the front tire.
I haven't had it out in about 8 years now.
Someday it will find it's way back to the dragstrip.
