Title: Question About What A Part Does

Hey guys,

I took these two brackets out when I was rebuilding my rear window mechanisms.  I cleaned them up and I'm ready to install them but I'm curious as to their function?  What do they do?  Thanks

They are the up stops for your 1/4 windows.

Got it do they get any rubber stoppers or anything like that on them?  Or just as is?

Is there any rubber on the 1/4 window pin where that piece makes contact?  I've seen some of those "up stops" that have a little bit of plasti-dip on the end.
