The car is my high school graduation present form my dad in 99. Seen several different engines and various upgrades over the years. Mostly a street car that sees the track every once in a while. I took the car apart a couple years ago and started on the metal work. It has a new floor, firewall, upper cowl and rear footwell on the right side.  I have a trunk floor for it and trunk lid. Lately been working on patching the inner roof structure. Still have to patch the rocker panel on the drivers side and the bottom corners under the Dutchman panel. Then replace the left outer wheelhouse and the complete back half of the car. This thing is way rustier than I thought it was!

Sounds like you've made some good progress!  Looks like a bit of cancer still needs to be fix.  And you've had it since 1999!  Only super cool dads give their son an E-Body!

Been a lot of miles and passes in that old bench seat! It's originally EV2, bench seat, column shift, black vinyl roof, hood pins, luggage rack, road lamps and 318 904. I have the fender tag and build sheet for it. It's going to go back EV2 one day!
