So I found this Hurst V-Matic 2 shifter for automatics, that will fit in E-bodies. My question is was it ever an option offered on the E-bodies by Chrysler like the Hemi or 6-pak stuff. It has the T handle with that short release bar in front. Just curious since I think I will be picking one up in a parts run for my car.  They have a V-Matic 3 and a pro-matic as well.

Thanks
Ogre.

There was NO AFTERMARKET shifters factory installed in a 1970-74 automatic E body.

Chrysler did have their own version of a "Slap Stick" shifter that was used in the E Bodies

Has anyone ever installed an aftermarket sifter that actually looks good?
