Any suggestions for a new car stereo?

I'm looking to buy a new sound system for my Challenger, including the stereo and speakers.

I don't care about it not being "stock/original" when it comes to this.  The stereo system is a critical part of awesomeness of the car for me! lol

I haven't purchased a car stereo since the early 90's, so I'd appreciate any advice.

One MUST have requirement is the ability to connect it with my iPod.

Any brands, or links to suppliers, etc. would be appreciated!!

I've come to appreciate JVC for low cost vs performance....
I'm putting music on a tiny USB drive these days.. easier to manage than iPod but admittedly not as slick an interface  I notice this only supports the NANO iPod

I've used JVC, Kenwood and Pioneer within the last little while. All had acceptable results.
