plate_ under quarter windows

should there be one on the passenger's side ?
there are threaded hole inserts located like the drivers side

another cuda I have doesn't have any..

Both are BS23 vins.

I have never seen anything like that on the many Cuda's I've worked on.

I haven't either, appears factory > counter sunk holes in plate, and treaded inserts in the sheet metal

screw spacing mirrors each other.

They are crash reinforcements, I think it's 74 only but maybe on late 73's..

Earlier than I thought...   Only 72-74's I've owned were 25-30 years ago & they were parts cars at the time... Today they would be solid projects but back then they were just refugees from the crusher....

I at first thought it was like a torque plate ??? G code...lol
have a stroker engine going in after body work / paint
will be installing frame connectors

I've only found them on 74's, but I don't work on too many post 71's

I agree - never ran into those plates?
I have had three 73 cuda part cars and many 70 - 71's
typically they had plastic - hardboard
