1970 Mopar Interior Textures

Can someone please tell me what texture this is...Chrysler name or other please. This is the texture of upholstery and plastic parts in a 1970 E-Body.

No sure it has an exact name per say. I used to build molds for plastic parts and there was a place down in Windsor Ontario that we would sent the mold to get this texture applied to the mold surfaces. I believe it was an acid etch process. I tried google " texture pattern plastic" and came up with a bunch of examples. "Leather texture" is what some called it.

That is helpful....thanks! I too am making a silicon mold for cold pour for this very part and how they created the texture was a real mystery. I had considered acid etch as well.
