B-body carpet in E-body?

Currently my car has no carpet.  Floor pans need some love that won't happen for a while so I don't want to install a nice carpet set now.  Found a new carpet on CL that guy says he bought for a 72 charger, but he thinks it would fit a 71-74 E-body.  Price is right and if I can make it fit reasonably well I'd spend the $60 on it.  Anyone know if it is plausible?

front floor pan is the same, from the foot well floor and under seat pan are different. but the rear section of the carpet is a separate piece. I would give it a whirl. really nothing to lose.

Yes it should work I think. The front should be the same, rear will have to be trimmed.

That's what I'm thinking.  Wife and Daughter love the car, but don't like seeing the road go by under their feet.
