1970 Challenger SE. My original driver side bucket seat sits " a little soft", like it's 50+ years old. All of the springs are in place and properly connected. I'd like the seat to have a firmer feel like the passenger side seat (which hasn't been sat in nearly as much).

Has anyone done or know about anyway/anything to "firm up" their seat(s)?

If you remove the cover you could add a layer (1/2") of a newer and firmer foam between the springs and the cushion.
Or, buy new foam cushions from Legendary.
Just a couple of options.
Are your seat covers good?

Yes, covers are good. 50+ years old but I'm happy with them after I used a leather restoration kit on them. Good tip on the foam. Two questions:

Can you swap seat bottoms from passenger side to driver side?

Has anyone done anything to tighten/stiffen the stock springs?

70 seat bottoms can be used on either side, drivers or passenger. Just switch the seat tracks and seat backs.

Not sure how picky you are, but if you do that the latch that attaches to the seat bottom will need to be swapped to the opposite side. So you will see the original holes in the vinyl.
