Challenger Speaker options

There was a great post talking about mounting two speakers in the center speaker slot. I didn't think about this option so I might go this route. Does anyone have other solutions? I would like stereo sound. Both in the center won't give the stereo effect. I guess I could just listen to pre 1966 music 

In my infinite wisdom of youth, I cut holes in the kick panels. I can put speakers there too. But curious to hear/see other options

You might try calling and asking this guy.  I did so a week or so ago and he is a wealth of information about new speakers for our old radios and/or upgrades.
