Is this as simple as hitting it with some sort of lubricant under the dash?

Thanks.

It could be.     Just depends on where it's squeaking.  Some clutch pedals got a bushing and other got a bearing, just depended on what engine combo.  Does your set up still use the large over center spring?

Might be easy to lean down there and listen while someone works the pedal.  I'm sure it's going to be an easy fix once you find where the squeak is coming from.

FSHTAIL

To be quite honest.
I haven't even looked yet.

If it still has the big spring it's more than likely the culprit. Those are always dry working against the retaining pin.

FSHTAIL

Is the big spring something you delete or something?

Only if your running a diaphragm pressure plate. 3 finger Borg & Beck style you would keep it. Diaphragm pressure plate has a bunch of small fingers instead on 3 big fingers. The small finger design is easy to depress so you don't use the over center spring. Centerforce diaphragm style is showed below in pic. Not all have the little weights on the fingers. That's a Centerforce brand design.

FSHTAIL

I honestly don't know the clutch setup.

For now to address your squeak issue just hit to ends of the big spring with WD40 or something like that and see if that fixes your problem. You don't want to remove the spring if you run the 3 finger clutch.

Chryco Psycho

I would use something a lot better than WD40 white lithium would be a better choice

I have some triflow kicking around.      Smells good too

You could always try @Blake@diyhemi.com's stripper spray, I've heard that smells good.

FSHTAIL

I found out it's a Centerforce Dual Friction.

If your sure that's what you have the big spring needs to go if it's still on there.

If I remove the spring.
What will that do?
