Console hold down bolts?

I cant seem to find anywhere what size and style bolts hold down the center console to the floor?

self tapping screw with an  oval head #8 I recall
flat under the head not tapered / countersunk

Yea...Phillips with sort of a washer, but not a washer, black in colour

And that goes through the carpet to hold the console down to the bracket?

cut the carpet around / under the brackets

I bought a complete console kit from Hoover's and the hold down bolts are exactly like the washer fluid bottle screws ...Phillips head with washer. I don't know if that's 100% accurate, I'll have to check my Dave Wise fastener book tomorrow to verify.

That's what I sometimes use too, but I don't think they're correct. Should at least be black in my opinion.

#10-16 X .570" Black zinc finish ..
