Correct Finish on Gas Pedal Assembly

What is the correct finish on a 70-71 E-body gas pedal assembly? Bare metal, black phosphate, etc?  I'm guessing Sublime is wrong?

I believe it started life as a dark grey/black phosphate coating.

Notice also in your picture another item that is unique to 1970 only....not only is the plastic pedal different, but the whole shape of the metal arm is different as well

Thanks guys.  I'll have to take a closer look at the difference between arms.  I didn't see that at first.
