Defrost duct connection to heater box

Finally got the heater box installed.  I just put the defrost duct into position and it looks like something is missing.  What seals between the duct and the heater box?

Nothing seals there, it has to draw cabin air in, to combine with the warm air to defrost the windshield

I beg to differ, anlauto... he's missing this seal, consisting of shredded paper, rags, insulation and mouse turds!!

Sadly, I discarded all the mouse nests from the car a long time ago.  I will need to wait for some new ones to get made I guess.
