Gauge issue

How do I fix this?  Was told to take the breather screw out and let it sit but been a week and no change?  Still works just subtract 20 for a correct reading but sure would like the needle to start at zero . .

Likely the guage is damaged , common actually .

Been like this since I got it new .. I assumed it would settle sooner of later, damn.

I doubt it . . Been like 15 years . . Really thought it would settle down to zero one day.
