 I was wondering if there is any info on '71 standard gauges anywhere. I have seen at least two different styles and I'm wondering if there was a change mid year. My car was produced right before Christmas of '70.

I know 1970 Challenger had different standard gauges than 1971+.  Not sure if there was a 3rd version?  :notsure:

the '71 model year started with both E-bodies sharing the '70 Plymouth version of the STANDARD gauge cluster

during winter & thru the spring of '71, the '70 Challenger style speedometer was used along with Plymouth's smaller gauges
by summer it was back to the full set of Plymouth style gauges for both E-bodies

does your car still have its original DOOR STICKER?
what's the date on the door sticker & what's the car's SPD?

is that the cluster you have? what's the date on the back?

@6bblgt Thank you for tbe info. The door sticker on my car says 12/70. One of my brother's cars has the same gauges as mine unfortunately we only have a fender tag for it. My serial number starts with 257 and i believe I saw on the build sheet or somewhere it was a 12-23-70 build, the number on his car here in town starts with 368 so I'm guessing it is a later winter build perhaps. He has two otjers that are a bit of a drive but I'm sure one of tbem has slightly different gauges. Not a real big deal just made me curious.
