Who makes the correct looking one for a 71 Cuda?  I've read they were more of a fabric than vinyl?  Does anyone have a picture?

I've also heard ecs makes the best quality one? Are they better than ACC, metro ect?

If you're looking for just a cheap rubber floor mat the will curl up on the ends and are totally wrong, buy anything BUT the ECS trunk mat that is perfect in every way and yes, it does cost more.  I thru out 8 mats from cars of mine and replaced them with the ECS mat.

ECS is suppose to be the best.

ECS is a lot better than standard trunk mat, a lot closer to original mat

I agree, ECS is the best, but it does cost more then the next best thing which would be the rubber mat from REM in my opinion.. :alan2cents:

I don't know of anybody that makes a correct fabric style mat for a 71.  With how nice the ECS rubber mat is I don't think any of the companies will as the market for them at the price they would have to charge would be very small. I made one myself using a burtex material that is pretty close to the pattern, a thin foam rubber glued to the back, rubber stamps for part number and date code, and hand cut using my original as a guide.  The materials I bought to do this were probably almost twice what the ECS mat cost but I wanted to try and duplicate the 71 style mat as best I could.

Here's a comparison between the patterns.  Top is the new material I used bottom is the original.
