Under dash hood release setup?

My car doesn't have any latching mechanism for securing the hood other than the hood pins.

I'd like to use latch that will allow me to run an under dash hood release setup.

I'm not concerned about originality, I just want to ensure nobody is going to steal my battery like they did in my 71 Demon way back when.

Any common cars this will interchange with for ours?
Random picture for attention.

Thanks.

Most Mopar hood latches are very similar in design, the differences are to allow the release lever to be accessed on the different body styles.... Cable release latches on similar vintage Mopar vehicles are all the same since theres no lever to access.... I've used a latch & cable off a 73 Chrysler on a 70 Challenger... Lots of options including trucks & vans...

I did the same years ago on another Challenger I owned, used a C body latch and it worked pretty well.

I've seen the electric trunk latches used on both the trunk and hood latches.
