Where did you find it?  Does it have any markings on it at all?  I don't recognize it.

looks like part of a heater box/air deflector from a more modern car

I found it in the box with my challenger heater box and vent parts. I got the Challenger heater box together and installed and figured out where all the vents go but still had this left over!

It has a Chrysler mark and PN 35923 2936597 on it. This made me think I missed something somewhere on my heater box reassembly. If you guys don't recognize it as E body that is good enough for me.

I'll put it on the unknown Chrysler parts shelf!

I got one of those with my 71 Road Runner with A/C as well. Not sure if I ever figured it out but I think it is for A/C ducting.

Your Google must work better than mine, I searched the number and did not get anything.

So it potentially does fit on my Challenger as it is an AC car. According to the ebay it fits on the bottom of the case, I assume that means heater/AC box? I'll have a look tomorrow and see if I can figure it out.

I cut and pasted the description so it can be saved here once the ebay add finishes.

"CLEAN AC/HEATER CASE BOTTOM FINISH COVER 70-71-72-73-74 CUDA/CHALLENGER, GOES ON BOTTOM OF CASE TO FINISH OFF THE CASE"

Im pretty sure I have one of those in the garage and it came off the Cuda convert and was part of the duct work for the AC system.  Not sure if it is a 70 only or not . . .

That piece is on the bottom of my 1970 AC heater box.
