5.7 Hemi Supercharged + 8HP70 restomod project questions

Hey everyone,

My first post here - I have taken over a 1970 Cuda project which has been sitting still for 7 years in our family and is desperately waiting for resuming of its restoration. We are located in Tallinn, Estonia.

The car has a successfully planted 5.7 hemi off a RAM and currently a 545RFE tranny attached to it also. The tunnel has been modified to accomodate the 545RFE. No wiring has been installed yet. A Vortech supercharger is waiting for installation after the whole setup is proofed to be working N/A.

I have decided to opt for the 8HP70 tranny since I've had it in two of my previous SRT vehicles and I think it would make a great addition. I have browsed around in forums and have currently concluded the following:

1) I need to get it off a donor preferrably with a Hemi engine since then I can probably fit it without any conversion plate and other issues. Does the mounting and tunnel made for 545RFE need to be modified?

2) I have found two suggested options to control this tranny:

I have been away from car projects for quite a few years but am now trying to get myself into the game again. I'd really appreciate your answers!
