Crankshaft sensor position?

My crate 5.7 was built in 2021 (iirc)...  I was going to install the starter (drivers side on my A518 tranny) and notice a hole in the block behind where the starter would sit with a treaded hole next to it for a hold-bolt I assume. 

Is this where the crankshaft sensor goes on these blocks?   Research suggests that sensor is on the passenger side but I don't think that's the case for my block...  I don't see the same hole on that side.

Just looking for informed consent...  :tool:   lol...
