I have been a longtime lurker and figured it was time to introduce myself and my car. I have always loved the E bodies and 5 years ago decided to seriously start looking. In August of 2018 I finally found a 1972 Cuda that met most of what I was looking for. Unfortunately that was not meant to be and it fell of the transport truck and destroyed the front end. The search began again and I found a 71 Challenger last year and after learning the painful mistake from the previous car, I made sure it arrived safely. It is a numbers matching non R/T 340. Not the original color, however, it is a color that I like (B7) and will be keeping it that way for the foreseeable future. Not a perfect car, but definitely fun. I am not a mechanic or body guy, I work on computers but I am anxious to learn new things. I did my brakes last year, took parts of 3 days for a task most people get done in an afternoon, but I learned a lot from the experience.
