Like what I see around this site so I'm here to stay. My E-body  history is I had 2 in the late 70's while in highschool 70 R/T 383 and 72 Rally 340. My next one came in 2005 with a 70 R/T 440 sold it in 2012 when things were tight and my girls needed new shoes lol. Bought my wife a new 2009 Challenger R/T  which she just recently sold we've always had Mopar something in the driveway now it's a Ram 4x4. I've been chasing a 73 Cuda  340 pistol grip 4sd. car for 18 months now and finally got a deal done a month ago. It's a sold project and I'm leaving in the morning to get it, it has been sitting in his parents garage for 30 years this month . The car was buried under alot of stuff so I got some pics I'll try to load from my phone.  I do have some with stuff removed lol. but the best will be when it's on the trailer.

LinceCuda

Well the pics didn't load I'll get it figured ou and post them.

Picking up a project is a wonderful time.  Please tell us more about it.  How did you find it and how far to you have to go to get it?

Brads70

Thanks Cody I'm really glad to have found this site. A friend I've know since 3rd grade called and said a employee of his had the car. Its in CT. so I think the trip is about 1000 miles one way but we're going to make it a vacation stopping along the way so i'll load it up next Sunday. The only rust is in the trunk it's a hole you can drop a bowling ball through lol but thats it not bad for a northern car. I'll get the pic thing figured out soon, my phone is the issue not to mention my eyes as well lol.

Cuda Cody

Have a safe drive and enjoy your trip.  We'll be eagerly waiting for some photos.   :bigthumb:

LinceCuda

Welcome to you from the left coast(SoCal) there's a bunch of great, make that really great Mopar folks on this forum. Making you feel welcome is just the beginning. Never feel any post you set or reply to are dumb, the dumb ones are the ones you don't ask. you may most likely run screaming into the night when my SL6 '70 Challenger pops up, no discrimination here, that's what I like about this forum.   Thanks,   Al

P.S., LinceCuda, about that hole in the trunk, just some advice the next time you go bowling, and you take the cuda, carry your bowling ball up front with you, not in the trunk.    Thanks again,   Al

Welcome to the site from  :canada: and good luck with the new purchase! Without trying to rain on your parade; if that bowling ball sized hole in the trunk is the only hole, run out and buy a lotto ticket.  :D
