1 @198D13 thank you for posting those pictures. This one is from an old magazine article that was showing some of the various details on a loaded purple & white 440-4 R/T convertible and an orange & white 440-6 'Cuda convertible restored by Roger Gibson. It's not a very good picture but it mentions that the screws that secure the tail panel along the top were chrome. Looking through my hardware bins I can't seem to find any around that size that show evidence of being chrome. Is this picture correct? Also I'd like to know the size of those screws you posted- looks like maybe #8 x 3/8? It almost looks like they used sill plate screws in this picture.

This one is a pic RestoRick had posted of the "big cheese" Hemi R/T SE, looks like phosphate coated screws were used on this one.
