Molded in textured black, not an easy thing to try and duplicate on a reproduction.
Just the piece you need to set off your AAR Cuda.
No imperfections, mint, perfect part.
Even has the end dimple originals had that repros dont.

I got to say, I've  learned something almost every day on the old forum. That's saying something,  as I've  been collecting and working on these for 40+ years.
I have a couple new spare valance inserts and I always assumed the factory ran out of gray plastic,  and just used black. I was  going to paint it silver.
I've  seen other parts that had the base plastic change color on late runs.

Can someone confirm that these came original on some M46's. 
I have one M46 with a black grill, meaning a black valance also.

Man, I hate it when  I'm  the one responsible for not storing stuff properly.
Pull this part out of the pile,  and it had dust embedded into the grain.
Washed,  and put some vinyl dressing on it to lift the dust.
And it has a repaired crack.  From before I got it.
But never installed.
