Looking for an original hood safety latch in good condition.

Do you care about the date code on the latch or any 1970 latch will be okay?

Decent shape, no bolts. Only numbers I see are 2599 (my Challenger has 0070 on it??)

Mine is a June build but I'm not picky about the date code. Any 70 latch would do. Somehow my original one was lost in the move. At least I didn't loose the car!

It attaches with just 2 bolts which I am sure I have, just not with the latch. I will look thru some boxes and try to find them.

With out without scalp tissue and hair?      Gave mine away when I went to a T/A hood, sure don't miss that meat hook! LOL
