I'm looking for a 70-71 chrome button AM radio for an E Body, preferably restored in nice working ready to drop in condition.

PM me here or email Alan at anlauto@hotmail.com  with a price including postage to L7G 6G4 Canada :canada:

Will consider a decent used restorable one mailed to 35811 AL as well.

Chrome pushbuttons, @anlauto is this the one you are looking for ? Let me know if I need to check anything else on it , have to run out for a couple of hours can do some looking at it after about 11pm tonight.
I remember it working, don't use as like to hear the engine , also took the antenna off to be able to use the car cover.
I don't use radio in daily driver either , so I'm used to making my own noises.

Yea, that's the one I'm looking for. Is it for sale ? How much mailed to 35811 AL ?

I see them for $200+ and more if working.  :alan2cents:

Well thank you, but I'm not willing to pay that much for one in that physical condition. I'll be sending it to Wards Classic Radio for restoration anyways, so it's working condition is not important. What is important is the condition of the chrome on the buttons, on the surrounding bezel and knobs.

The cores I've come across that are decent condition for restoration, like yours, are usually in the $75-$125 range in my opinion. I' could be wrong, I haven't bought an AM one lately.

I can sell, it looks like it may fit in a USPS priority box for less than $20, 2 day shipping.
Gonna verify now that it works etc.

Turns on, can hear it at the speakers no antenna connected not sure where that is , buttons all pull out and set stations along the dial.
@anlauto if you would like to buy, I can try to take out this weekend , gotta figure that out , send to Wards Classic Radio and if you want them to evaluate for condition and price that works for me. I'm sure they know the value better than me.

Well thanks for checking to see if it works, the best I would offer for that radio would be $100.00 plus $20.00 for postage. $120.00 USD total, PayPal and I'll cover the fees....

It's going to cost me another $185 or so to have it restored... :dunno:

Be careful. Don't get caught drinking the Kool-Aid or believing the hype.

Does this one work for you? It came out of my 71 barracuda convertible. Unfortunately the wires are cut but I'm sure Ward's can take care of that.
