My seat backs just came in.
To use them, you have to drill on the frame, for the screw ,at the bottom.
Also it appears that the backs may not fit at the top. Too short.

Gee, what have I gotten into.

Ok, I had it on these. I'm going to send the frames back to Jeg's and they are refunding it.

Why? The back did not fit the frame and there was a medal bar on the back that would have to bend the back cover.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet.

I have a pair of 74 seats I would sell (recovered by the previous owner), but I'm up in Chicago. :/

I went with some "Cipher Auto Black Leatherette" Jeep seats that some others here have used. They are really nice, although I think the adapter for the tracks cost as much as the seats. Was still under $1000 for nice new seats.

Thanks, But I'm in Georgia and that cost too much to ship.

Finding seats close enough to pick up has stalled my finding a set for a few years, now.  One seat, taken apart, in two boxes is about $120 to ship, in one box, about $90.  Per seat.  So if you find a nice set, shipping may be worth it.  I'm still looking for a black set in the 1970 style.

The back seat, although lighter in weight, is a larger item and we get dinged on the oversize surcharge.  But still worth the cost, for the right item.

Look on MarketPlace in Colorado. Not sure it's still there.

Those are nice... and pricey, but I might consider them were they local to me.  They look  pretty good, and include the  seat tracks.

That was the seats I was talking about. I was going to buy them until I found out the shipping would be $950.
Those looked like a great pair.

Buying boxes for those parts would be about $40.  Less using Home Depot boxes. Each part (upper, lower, left, right) makes four shipments, at around $100 each, so half $950 is not unreasonable.  You can pay for the shipping labels, then email them as a PDF document, I've done that in the past.
