I think I have one that was on a 70 Challenger, would they be the same????

I believe that the E-body trunk lights are the same for the Barracuda as well as the Challenger. Check the factory part #, I think there are 2 numbers for the '70 and one for the '71. '70 only is # 2947516, bulbs for the lamp itself is a brass based #GE 1003,1004 or you could use an 1895 which is for the map light. I have a trunk lamp in my '70 Challenger, since it works as it should, I looked at it. It ties into the dome light via twin pig tails, it is a Mercury contact which is part of the lamp socket.     Thanks,   Al
