ISO Non AC Heater Control Valve Correct for 1970

In search of (eventually, but I'd better start now) a correct heater control valve for my 70 U Code restoration. For the record, I had acquired one for an AC car (NOS) if someone wanted to work out a swap. I gather that the originals were not that great, but I'm looking for keeping things original as possible. I'm sure I could dig something up on fee bay, but I'm not a big  fan, especially if another club member can step up. Thanks in advance.

Well, good news. For a non-a/c car, there is no heater control valve, so you can cross that off your list!

@EV2RTSE so your heater core is hot full time? I've never had to get into a heater, learning curve here.

Right - the cables at the heater controls on non a/c cars just run to doors in the box, as far as I recall there's always a continuous flow of coolant through the heater core.

I'd have sworn I'd seen valves on the right side fender wall on other non ac cars. Perhaps an aftermarket hack? Oh well, my mistake saved me yet another parts hunt!  :whiteflag:  :ohyeah:

I would only install an AC OEM heater control valve on a car I never drove. Ask me how I know.  :Thud:

@headejm I actually have one for AC car if you're looking for one.

I've had an OEM one on my convertible for the last 6 or 7 years and so far so good!
I've probably cursed myself...
They're made of Bakelite which has a reputation for cracking though.  I probably should pick up a spare if I get a chance for when mine inevitably fails.

Make sure it is the right one. Mopar useded one valve and multiple stamped metal cam plates with different arcs for different cars.
The incorrect number will not open or close all the way.H30-111
