If you have the back ends then have a metal fab shop price forming some ss pieces to replace the "too square" ends.
should be vastly cheaper than the 1K.

I had stock tips on the car and butchered the pipe end trying to mate them to 2 1/2 inch pipe no big deal because I was drag racing the car and going for performance. After I stopped racing I decided to clone it to a cuda and replaced the exhaust with a TTI 2 1/2 system and I hate their tips. So I took the original  tips off the pipe end by drilling out the spot welds and paid a welder $200. to fill the holes and then I had a chrome shop re-plate them for $250. My goal is to fit them to the TTI pipe flanges. The point is if you have to restore or chrome them they start getting expensive.

$1000 ??? Just wow.

I bought a set of those stainless after-market ones too. I just didn't like the way they fit in the 'Cuda cut out's.Like a square peg in a round hole. Threw them on the shelf. A short time later I found a used set on FEBO for $50. That's after he dropped the price and free shipping. Did a little metal work then took them to be re-chromed for $85. I didn't think to separate them. Oh well, no regrets.

Nice! For $50 originals, you can't beat that. I never considered buying an old set and rechroming...I'd consider that now.

Jeez! $500 - $1000 just for exhaust tips. I get the NOS correct build but dang I'd hold out! As a metal fab guy, you could pay a machinist to make em out of billet SS and polish to taste... Still wouldn't be NOS but completely rebuilding isn't exactly stock anymore(but better) either would be be better imo... Nothing cheap though. Lol I have a farm fresh cuda that would appreciate the pipes replaced through the valance with near anything Square.  :haha:
