NOS T/A drivers side stripe kit

A couple years ago, my drivers side door stripe got scratched.  A friend had a extra NOS door and rear quarter stripe he gave me.  But when I had the door stripe installed a few months ago, the texture and "black" is off a bit from the fender stripe. 
The NOS set used on the restoration originally had a late date code, '87 iirc, the pieces my friend gave me were dated '79.  Maybe the 3M tape formula was changed a bit by the time the late sets were made?
Whatever the case, I am seeking an NOS drivers side set.  Will consider buying a complete set, or buying just a drivers side fender stripe if the box is dated late 70s/early 80s.
