My 1970 cuda is missing the rear seat belt mounting brackets that would've been spot welded to the wheel housing. Anybody have a pair they saved from 70/71 cuda/Challenger? Thank you, Joe

I discovered AMD makes the brackets, so I ordered a set from Roseville Moparts this morning....Thanks, Joe

I just got the new brackets yesterday & discovered they're 7/16-14. The correct seat belt bolts are 7/16-20. Have any of you guys came across this problem & what did you do to correct it? They're not welded in yet. My grandson might be riding back there from time to time. Thank you, Joe

Same thing happened to me in 2021.  I wanted to warn you but couldn't find your thread because I thought I saw it on FEBO. Anyway, I ended chasing that 7/16-14 with a 7/16-20 tap. It worked and the bolt tightened up okay. Mine was already welded in so it was slow going with a wrench on the tap.

Somewhere on this forum I posted the problem and a picture. In hindsight I should have told AMD too, not just e-bodies.org

I think my bracket was the wrong size too, I had to shave some plastic off the panel part that goes over top of it. Then again my car went through a lot back then, rear floors, inner/outer wheelhouses, Dynacorn 6000WT, etc....

Ryan from Roseville Moparts has contacted AMD. I should have an answer early next week. Ryan went to MCACN so I'm sure my brackets aren't on his mind....Joe

I'd really like to get the measurements as pictured of an OEM bracket. Even if they're still welded in the car is fine. I feel that I had to shave too much off the panels so they'd clear the flat top area of the AMD brackets.
