Hi
Can anyone help me with a set of correct iron manifolds for my 71 Cuda with a 340 engine?
Left side: Part number: 3418620 / Casting number: 3418621
Right side: Part number: 3418624 / Casting number: 3418623
Must be in good working condition. Not too rusted and the flat to the engine should be smooth.
I have a shipping address in the USA for easy shipping.

Thank you in advance!

By listing the 71 part number,  I assume you want 71 date code.
I have a pair of 72 manifolds in very good condition with the early part number.
The other 72-3 manifolds made 8 days earlier have the 375 prefix number and a casting change.  The right side manifolds have the part number facing outward, after mid 5-72. So on the right side at least,  no one could tell it from a 71, unless they get a mirror out.
I'll give someone with extra 71's manifolds a chance , but I expect there's few out there. Even 72's are slim pickings.
I had saved a pair for my car, after realizing that putting 70 style on my car was good, but not correct. I have since gotten 2 pairs of correct date 71's for my original motors.  It took a while,  and I did it years ago. Not sure how many clean ones are left.

Thank you very much, Mr. Cuda
Your manifolds are looking great.
Yes, try to find 71 date codes ones. The car has B-Body or something currently. They work but it looks wrong to me.
Let me try to find 71's and if I'm not lucky I would love to buy a set from you. They look way more original and better then the ones I have now.
Thank you for your help!!

Mr Cuda

I'm curious what you have currently.
After 71, all manifolds were used on all models and shared engines for the year.  So no B body specific manifolds.
In  late 74,  the manifold casting changed again,  but fit the same.

This is what I currently have.

What you have there are the most desirable and most expensive small block 1970 exhaust manifolds. They're the 340 high performance ones used on 340-6 engines. I even put them on my 318 to get rid of headers. I'd keep those on there.

Mr Cuda

Yip, that's was what I have on my 71's, even though not correct.
The correct 71 manifolds are shelf material, as someday, someone will want them for their museum piece.
I'll be dead so, .....

hmmm......  :notsure: difficult now.....
My car is a very special one and my plan was to go back to factory as far as possible. Performance is not that important.
Here in Switzerland we can't tune our classic car as you guys can do in the US, unfortunately. They are very strict here to get or keep a car street legal.
Difficult decision.
Tony from Tonys Mopar just offered me date correct ones. Very nice ones for a fair price. I should buy these and make my decision later....
